Hopefully you’ve been checking this blog daily to see which artists we’ve decided to unveil during the lead-up to the release of WTWTA. And, if you’re of the artistic persuasion, you might be saying to yourself, “Why didn’t they ask ME to contribute something? I’m awesome.” Chances are that statement is at least a bit biased, but we’re going to call your bluff and invite all of our readers to submit their very own interpretations of the Wild Things. That’s right, you can submit your own masterful renditions of Maurice Sendak’s timeless creature creations. And what’s more, we’ll even post them on this very site if we deem them worthy. But it doesn’t end there.
On October 16th (WTWTA’s US release date) we will select our top three picks and these individuals will have bountiful prizes heaped upon them. Being the nice guys that we are, we’ll also choose 20 runners-up who will receive their very own copies of the WTWTA soundtrack by Karen O. So start drawing/painting/photoshopping/whatever your little hearts out, and submit it here when you’ve got something put together that you think is up to snuff. Keep reading to get details on the (completely overboard) prize packages.
